Exchange 2007 Recipient Filter
Hi,I've testing out Exchange 2007 for a small office environment. I've used Exchange 2003 in the past, but must admit that this new one is taking a bit of getting used to!In the past I've had one server running Exchange for the whole office and it does everything. But 2007 has split everything up, and seems to put a lot of focus on the Edge Transport Server which I won't be installing. The feature I really want is Recipient Filtering. We're using a 'catchall' email account at an ISP and I want Exchange to filter out any emails not destined for a user on the Domain.Having read the docs online, in particular:http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/e2k7help/994eefd9-3903-41e6-a882-1e333d6d2d18.mspx?mfr=trueThis states that to configure Recipient Filtering on the Hub Server, I need to issue the command:Enable-TransportAgent -Identity "Recipient Filter Agent"in the Exchange Management Shell. When I do this, I get the following error:Enable-TransportAgent : Transport agent "Recipient Filter Agent" is not found.Any suggestions? I've Googled and hunted on these forums, but seem to be on my own. Thanks in advance for any helpCheersAndy

Hi, the anti-spam agents are enabled by default only on the edge server. If you do not have an edge server, you can enable the anti-spam agent by running this script on the hub transport server. install-AntispamAgents.msh script located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Scripts Note that it is a powershell (monad) script and you have to run this within the powershell, not command line. Also, you need to provide the full path to the script. Cheers
