Can I redirect an email sent to a public folder to a contact? also can I have it respond to the sender a message saying it has been forwarded? thanks!

Hi, Yes forwarding can be set on mail-enabled public folders, same like we set forwarding on mailboxes. You can enable it in Public Folder Management Console->public folder properties->mail flow settings->Delivery Options. I m not sure about the answer of second part of your question, but guess that you will have implement a message rule on hub server. In the “Folder Assistant” of public folder, response can be fired with rules. Well, transport rule shall also workJames Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
