Exchange 2007 Public Folders rule disables itself when an email with attachment is placed inside folder.
I have SBS 2008 on a brand new server. I recently migrated from SBS 2003 and everything has gone reletively smoothly except for the public folders. Heres my issue: In exchange 2003 I was able to put anything into a public folder and it would auto forward it to other employees depending on the rule applied. Now on Exchange 2007, although those rules are still in place, whenever I or anyone in the company place an email with an attachment into the public folder it automatically disables the rule to auto forward it to the other people specified. I am not sure why this happens. Is there some kind of filtering that is disabling the rule? If this isn't a clear enough description let me know and I will clarify anything. Thank you for taking the time to help me with this issue.

Hi, If the exchange 2003 is still running in your organization, please turn it off and test if the rules work.
