Exchange 2007 Public Folder Migration between 2 forests
I am in the process of merging 2 companies together however they will be running on two separate domains in the same forest. Company A is running Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2007 and Company B is running Windows SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003As Company A has about 100 users already and company B has about 25 we have decided to run 1 exchange server however on separate domains.Company B will be migrating to a new Server 2003 Domain ControllerI have got Exchange working fine for both domains. However Compnay B has about 40GB worth of Public Folders, what will be the easiest way to migrate their public folders from their old server to the exchange server? So far I have seen the public folders would need to be exported to PST's then reimported back in, but I am hoping there is any easier way.Any help would be greatly appreciated

Issue Description: Company A: Windows Server 2003 + Exchange Server 2007 Company B: Small Business Server 2003 (Exchange Server 2003 std. in it) Two companies stay in the different forests currently, and they will be merging on the different domains in the same forest, you will keep exchange server 2007 and decommission SBS 2003. Now you are looking for an easy way to move the public folder data from Company B to Company A. please correct me if I have misunderstood the question SBS domain cant build forest trust with another domain, which is the one of the main prerequisites to replicate the public folder data cross forest. So, what we can do here is, to migrate SBS 2003 domain to a regular Windows Server 2003 domain before we can replicate the public folder. The steps in this article will help

Learned a new thing... I was not aware of trust limitation since didn't work much with SBS family...As always, I appreciate your value added sharing James :) Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
