Exchange 2007 Property Sets and Power Shell.
I'm in need of building interfaces to pull data out of Exchange 2007 (Like Manager, Direct Reports, Phone numbers, etc) as well as be able to update this data. The hope is to be able to create a web interface that can be used to display and update the information pulled from Exchange 2007. Is using Powershell cmdlets the only means of completing this task? And if so is there a good reference for writing powershell cmdlets?

Hi Drahkar,I think what you are trying to do with PowerShell cmdlets, is not easy to achieve along with web interface. I am not a developer but since you are building web interface I would suggest you to find a programmatic way (scripting language or .net with AD/Exchange classes) to retrieve or update the information.PowerShell is basically built for Admins to handle AD/Exchange environment efficiently with programming power. You can put your query in Development forum to get better direction onprogrammingway.Microsoft TechNet>Forums Home>Exchange Server>DevelopmentAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Yes, in order to meet your requirement, you should write a post on our development forum. Additionally, you could use Csvde to import/export directory objects.
