Exchange 2007 Outlook Web Access thru domail.com/mail
Hi, I am new to exchange 2007 and has recently install and configure exchange 2007 SP1 on windows 2008 server.I have configured multiple mailboxes and configure HTTP Redirest in IIS7 to access mailboxes with address "test.domain.com".where "test" is my server hostname. Now I want to access mailboxes locally in the network without typing server name.Instead I want to access it by "mail.domain.com" or "domain.com/mail".Is it possible and how can I do that? What configuration steps needed". If it is not possible then can we change server (which is DC as well as exchange installed) name from "test" to "mail". Note: Domain is a local domain not registered publicly on Internet. Hi, Add mail as an A record to your DNS and use the same IP address as the test record. This will work but you might get some certificate warnings if mail is not included as a name on the current certificate. Leif
