Exchange 2007 Outlook Anywhere Connectivity Issue
Here's my problem; I'm not sure if you can help me or not. Consultant setup Exchange 2007. Outlook Anywhere is flaking out. Internal CA issued from DC to Exchange server. CA has root certificate and server certificate bundled together with 3 alternate names. internal FQDN (netbiosname.company.local) external FQDN (outside address is mail.companyname.com) autodiscover.companyname.com Exchange Proxy Settings on Client URL to connect to Proxy for Exchange: mail.companyname.com Connect Using SSL only: Checked Only Connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate: Unchecked, Outlook Anywhere works Checked, Outlook Anywhere fails. Exchange randomly turns this feature on when I disable it, filling in the msstd:mail.companyname.com as the principal name. When this happens, my users can no longer connect or login, looping their username and password. Basic Authentication is set. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

I know that this has been kind of asked in an earlier question, but I wanted to ask a separate question because the variables were a bit different. I would really appreciate it if someone could steer me in the right direction.
