Exchange 2007 Not Running?
We experienced a flood over the weekend and did not experience our water damage to our server but it was shut down. After restarting I am unable to get the email to work. We are running Exchange 2007. It doesnt appear that it is running

Is your Domain Controller doing the breast stroke or did it stay dry? What about your network switches. Are the Exchange services started and the Exchange stores mounted. Make sure your DC is working Make sure you are able to logon to the Exchange Server Make sure you ping the dns server, internet and ping the exchange server form the network or the domain controller. Make sure all the exchange services are running.Where Technology Meets Talent

Also, make sure DNS is running properly. Do some ping(netbios) from client to server.
