Exchange 2007 Memory Leak??
My Paging File is currently 33.8GB, I have 16GB of RAM and Paging File size is set to 20GB. I reboot the server and it's fine for about 3 weeks. If I don't catch it, it'll stop responding and have to hard reboot. Has anyone seen this?

Hi, Please understand that when you set up a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the operating system will create a page file that is one and a half times the amount of RAM that is installed in your computer. With Exchange installed, minimum size would be one times of your physical RAM and plus 10MB. The recommended size of the page file, however, is the amount of RAM multiplied by 1.5. Besides, performing more searches increases the file cache you have which in turn reduces the amount of IOPS that are generated. To avoid server crash, we recommend you to use performance Tool to track memory usage and set the proper page size. Detail information you can refer to the article below: Understanding Exchange 2007 Memory Usage and its use of the Paging File Understanding Exchange Server 2007 I/O improvements from 64 bit How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP Hope it helps.
