Exchange 2007 Mail Tracking question
HiI am trying to trace what has happened to a message that was sent by an external user to an internal recipient. Reason being that the internal recipient is saying that he is not receiving mails from the external user, but the external user is saying that he is sending them! The sender was: sender@external.comRecipient was: user@mydomain.comMessage-ID: 1234@mailserver.external.comSubject: Financial Report1I checked Exchange Message Tracking and saw the following entry: Sender: sender@external.comRecipients: user@mydomain.comMessageid: <1234@mailserver.external.com>Clienthostname: hubtransport1.mydomain.comServerhostname: mailbox1.mydomain.comSource: STOREDRIVEREventid: DELIVER From this I can gather that the message was sent from HubTransport1 to Mailbox1.However - the message was not received in Outlook (we have checked Junk Mail and Outlook rules), nor was it Quarantined on the Forefront application running on Mailbox1.Any ideas on how to trace what happened to the message? We are running Exchange 2007 SP1 servers and Outlook 2007 SP2 clients. Thanks guys.

Hi,Now I would like to confirm the following questions:Whether only one internal user had this issue?Did you check message in the queue viewer? Whether the message hung in the queue? If not, please test this issue in OWA.Additionally, check whether any error message come up in the Application event log.ThanksAllen
