Dear All I would like to know what is MAX attachmnet size in exchnage 2007 ? I google it and found 10mb for exchange 2007 sp1 I want to increase to 15mb its client requirment so can I do it? if yes how can I achive it ant doc? please share with me Thanks kumar

There is no maximum attachment size anywhere in any version of Exchange. There is a maximum message size, however, and that is calculated after an attachment is encoded into the message. A maximum message size of 10 MB would mean that your maximum attachment might be something like 8 MB because of overheads. Message size limits exist in several places in Exchange. You can look at various locations where message size limits are enforced and increase or eliminate them. One place is in Global Settings > Message Delivery. Another is a property of each user's mailbox, under Delivery Restrictions, as do public folders. Distribution groups have maximum message sizes. Still another place is on any connector over which the mesage much pass. You can restrict message sizes in the SMTP virtual server, affecting any message that must pass through it.
