.NET Framework 3.5 is not supported for Exchange 2007. I ran into an issue similar to yours a couple years ago where an Exchange Server was sitting at Applying Computer Settings and the Exchange services would not start. I resoled it by using Method 2 in the following KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925825 .MVP | MCSE:M | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator | MCTS: OCS + Voice Specialization | http://www.shudnow.net
