Exchange 2007 Installation directory Security whiped by error
Hello all, A backup software removed all security on my Exchange directory structure !!! Now I'm trying to find official directory security information to reset it. I've done most of it, but I'm still having problems with my Pub Fol db... Would anyone have this info ? Thanks a lot

BackupExec ... but that's a bit irrelevent since the security has been removed ... and unfortunately, since we were having problems with our backup, there is no backup to restore security with. All I'm looking for is the official default security applied on the Exch 2007 directories ... ThanksChantal

Hi Exchange 2007 public directory security. Authenticated users check read&execute, list folder contents, read. system all, administrators all. You had better reinstall new exchange 2007 on other server and compare security setting with your original server. Terence Yu TechNet Community Support

Thanks Terence for your reply. I'm actually looking for permissions on all installation directories, not only the Public Folder directory. This means c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange ....Chantal
