Exchange 2007 Information Store will not start
I rebooted my SBS 2008 system yesterday and the Exchange 2007 Information Store will not start. The error that pops up when I try to manually start the service is: "Windows could not start the Microsoft Exchagange Information Store service on Local Computer. Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion." I have tried resolving the issue using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940845 but it did not work. I have run the Exchange utilities have have found no errors with the databases. I have contact MS Support but I am waiting for a return call. Any help would be appreciated.

I resolved this issue by installing "Update Rollup 3-v2 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 3 (KB2530488)" You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=17615f50-8a56-428c-bc1a-629795692da1&displaylang=en In order to install, I had to run the executable from a Command Prompt with Administrative Privilages. I hope this helps as it took me 24 hours to resolve. MS Support finally called me back after I resolve the issue myself.
