Exchange 2007 How can i limit client emails per second / minute?
Hi. Some service gone mad in our network it began to sent thousands of emails. Is there way to limit an ip to send lots of messages? "Like one ip can send only 10 messages per minute".

You can go for setting up a throttling policy with the parameter MessageRateLimit
as described here

Hi,
Besides Rich, the
MessageRateLimit parameter specifies the maximum number of messages that can be sent by a single client IP address per minute. The default value for a Receive connector that is configured on a Hub Transport server is unlimited. The default
value for a receive connector that is configured on an Edge Transport server is 600 messages per minute.
