Exchange 2007 EMC shows mailboxes as located on old server, after they've been moved
A couple of weeks ago I moved 5 mailboxes from our Exchange 2003 server to our new 2007 server. They've been working fine in our Outlook, and still show as working fine. However, for 4 of the 5 mailboxes the 07 EMC shows that the mailboxes are located on the old server still, but everything else shows that they are located on the new server! So OWA is unavailable for 4 of these mailboxes (due to them being legacy mailboxes) but I can't ApplyMandatoryProperties because the server doesn't see them as moved. I've tried moving them again, but that process reports that they are already moved. What has happened? Thanks everyone.2003 Server = Win 2003 Server/Exchange 2003 SP22007 Server = Win 2008 Member Server/Exchange 2007

Hi, You might have to wait for few hours for the AD replication in your network. Normally it deosnt take so long though. Just wait few hours and then see whether EMC recognizes correclty. Also try to restart Information store service on mailbox server. Regards,Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

Thanks for the response, but I ended up figuring it out. The issue was that one of our domain controllers was tombstoned a couple of weeks ago, and it took me this long to discover. I had to demote/promote one of the DCs and after that the records stopped changing themselves back.
