I have read the advantages and wanted to now find out the disadvantages of having multiple storage groups with one data base in each. Can anyone tell me whythe limit to the number of databases is 5? Thank you

I cant think of any disadvantages but if you need more databases with this model then I suggest that you look at enterprise version.

Amid, Please forgive my ignorance, I am a newbee with Exchange. Our user license for exchange is for 75 Enterprise w/o service and 75 Standard CAL. We have one license for Exchange Standard, so to me this would mean, we have the Standard Exchange and only able to have 5 db's correct. Thank you for your answer.

Yes, that's correct.
