Exchange 2007 Cross Forest Address List Question
Hi,Let me start with some background info. Our company was recently purchased by another company. We will be setting up a 2 way trust between the domains but I am not sure at this point what each side will have access to. We are both on a Windows 2003 domain with Exchange 2007.What I want to do is create an Address list with all of their Exchange receipients in it. Once the trust is setup what is the best way to go about this? I know how to create an Address List iN Exchange 2007 but I really don't see a way to set a new one up that will go cross forests. One thing I was doing a little reading on was ILM 2007 which will sync the GAL. I am not sure this is what I want at this point if there are other options.Any info you can provide is appreciated!Thanks,Person_TX

First, you will need to use a GAL synchronization solution such as ILM, MIIS, or the free IIFP. Once agents are setup, Contact records will be created in each domain whichcorrelate tomail-enabled AD accountsfrom the opposite domain. These records will be added to the default Global Address List automatically. However, you can also create a custom Address List which filters only Contacts with proxy address ending in "@domain.com" of thesource environment.I use IIFP often for exactly the scenario you've described and refer to the this article frequently...http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/GAL-Sync-Identity-Integration-Feature-Pack-IIFP.htmlRjZ
