Exchange 2007 Cleanup of System Attendant Mailbox
I'm not sure why this is happening but the system attendant mailbox is filling up with items. I want to enter the mailbox in order to investigate and/or clean out the items as it is causing errors in the event logs tied to being full. specific of the error are: Event ID: 1022 Logon Failure on database "SG-1\dBASE-1" - Windows account DOMAIN\SERVERNAME$; mailbox /o=DOMAIN/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=SERVERNAME/cn=Microsoft System Attendant. Error: 1245 Client Machine: HUBTRANSPORTSERVER Client Process: edgetransport.exe Client ProcessId: 0 Client ApplicationId: Client=Hub Transport I have already increased the mailbox size using ADSIedit but I still want to get in and take a look. Anybody know how to do this in exchange 2007?

Hi, This problem may happen if there is a exchange server which only has Public folder database mounted. Please try to create mailbox database for each public folder server and see if the issue persists. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT
