Exchange 2007 Can Receive email from external domain but cannot send
Hello,I would like to know about my problem, uptill yesterday my exchange server 2007 was working fine. today what went wrong i have no clue. however our mail server can receive emails but could not send and there are many emails pending in the queue.Please help me in this regard.Note : i am send emails to yahoo is going out but takes time and why the mails which are there in the queue never moves out, i mean stays there for long time.Please help me for the above problems.thanks,Muzammil

Hello,I have check my all services of exchangewasstarted. Internal emails working fineexternal can receive no problemexternal can not send , found many emails in the queue, but when i try to send a test email to yahoo it goes after 10 min. some thing but all emails which is there in the queue still there never goes out.What is the problem and how to resolve it.please some one help me out of this.thanks,Muzammil

Can you provide a little more information? For example, are all of the messages stuck in the queue going to the same external domain? Are you doing DNS lookups for routing Internet email? Or are you forwarding to a smart host? If you look at the messages stuck in the queue, what error(s) are being reported? Hi,Did you look in the application log for clues?Did you try the mail flow troubleshooter (in the tools menu)?Leif

I would also check your Firewall/Router and/or SMTP Gateway devicefor any issues. Are youusing a Smarthost? Any issues with the Smarthost or ISP?MVP Exchange Server
