I have 2 databases that consistently "lose" storage on what seems to be a daily basis. The Server Event 1221 states that the databases have a large amount of free space (upwards of 30GB); everytime online maintenance is completed. However these databases appear to lose from 50 to 100MB each day and are gradually going to fill their disks. I understand that there are many factors that can impact database growth in exchange, but I don't think mailbox usage is causing this fluctuation. Has anyone come across a similar issue? We are currently running Exchange 2007 CCR/rollup 5.
