looks like you're trying to run New-EdgeSubscription to import the Edge config on a Hub Transport server without first exporting the config from the Edge Transport server. take a look at this help topic: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/e2k7help/fbf3f7c0-de5d-4a2a-b219-5c412a628c29.mspx you need to first export the edge subscription from the Edge Transport server, copy the xml file that is created to the Hub Transport server, then import the edge subscription on the Hub Transport server.
