Exchange 2007 32bit EMC error
Hi All, Server A: Windows 2008 Enterprise RTM 64bit: DC+Exchange 2007 SP1 EnterpriseServer B: Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Enterprise 32bit: Exchange 2007 SP1 Management Console No issue when I use EMC in Server A. But when I use EMC in Server B and then I got the following error message --------------------------------------------------------Microsoft Exchange Error--------------------------------------------------------The following error(s) were reported while loading topology information: Get-ActiveSyncVirtualDirectoryFailedError:Unable to create Internet Information Services (IIS) directory entry. Error message is: Access is denied.. HResult = -2147024891. Access is denied.. Directory Path: IIS://dc01.fairsurf.local/W3SVC/1/ROOT/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync Detail:server name: dc01.fairsurf.locallocal machine name: MGMTlocal machine fqdn: mgmt.fairsurf.local Access is denied. Get-OabVirtualDirectoryFailedError:Unable to create Internet Information Services (IIS) directory entry. Error message is: Access is denied.. HResult = -2147024891. Access is denied.. However, I did check DCOM and I don't have any problem with DCOM and there is no error message in Event Log. Can anyone help please? Kevin

Isnt this a bug reported to Microsoft? Looks like permission issues while Windows 2003 communicates to Windows 2008 IIS.

Its just a calling method & you have to change this on 2003 machine, I dont think so if it is then it can be reversible.
