Hi I'm setting up monitoring of a CCR 2 node Exchange 2007 setup and was wondering if the MSExchangeIS and MSExchangeSA service should be set to manual on the passive node, and if the failover process starts these services and sets them to automatic. If this is the case I'll set the monitoring for these two services against the cluster name rather than both servers. Thanks for any help. Pete.

Yes, with CCR both the SA and IS service are set to manual on both nodes. Let CCR and clustering manage stopping and starting those services.
