Exchange 2007 - GAL issue with new users
If we create a new user and attaching an orphaned mailbox, the GAL shows the new new name, but the old user in chevrons. i.e. New User <Old User> Mailbox seems to work fine and the new user can send and receive mail. It just looks a bit unprofessional for users to see this in the address book. Can anyone tell me howe to change or remove this? Regards

Can you change the display name in Active Directory Users and Computers or via the Exchange Management Console? I have never seen Exchange do this after connecting a disconnected mailbox, but it may be something that SP1 is doing.
