Exchange 2007 & Active Directory users and computers
I am running into a strange issue. We are converting from Vpop3 to Exchange 2007.The programs are on two different servers. I just change the forwarders in the router to switch between the servers. When I first installed it, it worked fine, but the POP3 & Web Access was not working, so in the process of getting the POP3 (command line set) & Web Access (port forwarding s/u in the router) something happened. After one of the reboots, I could no longer open the Active Directory Users and Computers using the Administrator login. If I right click and open as another user, it opens fine. The error I get is :Microsoft Visual C++ runtime LibraryRuntime Error!Program c:\windows\system32\mmc.exeThe application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more informationThe other two AD modules open fine. Since this started happening the exchange will not receive e-mail. I can send out fine, and also receive "local only" mail.I have no idea why the error started. Nothing else was done to the system. Since this happened I am getting DNS related event errors, that point to AD, and exchange errors pointing to DNSAny suggestions would be appreciated, as the owner is getting ansy. Thanks
