Hi,For autoresponse i think simple solution is set a rule1. Outlook - > Tools2. Rules and Alerts -> New Rule3. Start the blank rule -> Next - > Sent to me -> Next4. have server reply using specified message -> add the requried details in subject and data -> save and close5. Next and -> next and finish the sameRegards,Krishnahttp://smtpport25.wordpress.com

Hi, I am assume you use Outlook 2007.I like to highlight here first Out of Office Assistant work only with an Exchange server account. If you dont have Exchange server account you can use alternative method instead Out of Office Assistant. If you use Exchange server account fallow bellow procedure. Turn on or off the Out of Office Assistant ================================== http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP012328301033.aspx Use below method if you dont use Exchange server account. Automatically reply to messages ===================== http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA102487481033.aspx Regards Chinthaka

Besides, in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Auto replies to External senders is disabled. Many administrators do not allow auto-replies to be sent outside of the Exchange organization to prevent unauthorized Access. You dan follow the steps below to enable it:1.Open Exchange management console2.Expand organization configuration.3.Click on Hub Transport4.Click on Remote Domain tab5.Right click on Default -> click on properties-> Click on Message Format tab-> and than click to select the Allow automatic replies and Allow automatic forward check boxes. This enables auto replies to be sent to external senders. How to emulate the Out of Office Assistant in Microsoft Outlookhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/311107Regards,Xiu
