No, but you can journalize all e-mail to another mailbox or external e-mail system. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

It most be some way to export every "word" with an @ ? If all you're interested in is the sender (MAIL FROM) and recipient (RCPT TO) addresses then you should be able grab them pretty easily from the SMTP protocol logs. There aren't separate sending and receiving log files, though -- unless you use two SMTP virtual servers (one to send, the other to receive). You'll have to keep track of which direction the commands are flowing to know if the messages are coming in or going out. For working with log files I prefer to use Perl, but you can use darned near anything. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi MrSWE, Rich gave some good suggetion. If we analyze the tracking log to retrieve the information, we must collect the message tracking log firstly, and we could use the cmelet: get-messagetrackinglog |ft sender, recipients > c:\name.csv It would contains all the emailaddresses(internal and external) that has send email. Hello and thank for all answers. I have found the old excel file that was used againd Exchange 2003 server, and under Connections | Defenitions in the excel file I can see: DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=mailserver1;UID=sa;;APP=Microsoft Office 2003;WSID=DOMAIN;DATABASE=IIS_Log And SELECT inetlog.parameters FROM IIS_Log.dbo.inetlog inetlog WHERE (inetlog.parameters Not Like '%@internaldomain.com' And inetlog.parameters Like '%@%.%') Does ths mean that the Exchange 2003 or IIS was set to export to a log-fil and then an ODBC was created somehow, and then the excel-file talked ODBC to the IIS_Log file ? Is this possible in Exchange 2007 / 2010? best regards /SMrSWE

Only Exchange 2000 and 2003 used IIS SMTP. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
