Exchange 2007, Windows 2008 and ISA 2006
Dear all,I face this infrastructure on Customer environment3 Servers : DC on Windows 2008 ST ISA 2006 on Win 2003 Exchange 2007 SP1 on Windows 2008 ST My Questions are: The local domain name is the same as the public one (i.e.:Contoso.com internal and external) also the server name Internal and externalis (Mail.contso.com) so is this configuration have any problem with outlook anywhere and Auto discover. Is there any Special Configuration in Exchange 2007 with Win 2008 especially for outlook any where configuration ISA 2006 publishing rule, I created simple publish ( Publish for non web Server ) rule that just forward the traffic to the exchange server without any special publish rule (i.e.: publish exchange server Rule), so is this correct or I have to use the Exchange publish rule for HTTP and HTTPs. I face now a problemwith outlook any where configuration and there is smth in the authentication but I don't know where is the problem is it due to mis-configuration in ISA Rule or the problem due to Exchange with Windows 2008 Best Regards, mwahab

Hi,For the Outlook Anywhere, please ensure the autodiscover.domain.com or domain.com are included in the Subject Alternative Name on the certificate. And you mustadd a host record for the Autodiscover service to your external DNS zone. The external host name for enabling Outlook Anywhereshould match the common name or FQDN used in the server certificate installed on the ISA Server computer. To public the Outlook Anywhere in ISA 2006, pleae refer to the below article for your reference.:http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Outlook-Anywhere-2007-ISA-Server-2006.htmlhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb794751.aspxThanksAllen
