Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007 meeting invitations forwarded to incorrect recipients (other exchange users)
I have a very strange case that I'm hoping someone else has seen. Here is the scenario: User A invited User X Y and Z to a meeting. Somehow, user B (not invited) forwarded the meeting request to user C on behalf of User X. User A then gets a notification that his meeting was forwarded. User X has his iPhone setup to sync calendar User Y does in fact (validly) forward meeting requests to his BB email address using a rule (don't get me started about that one) I've checked and a few of the users in question had given permission to other users to send on their behalf (and share their calendar), which I've since removed. I'm at a loss of what to check and where to start with this issue. Someone have a fancy command for the management shell to show the send-as permission and view permissions for calendar? Version of Exchange: 08.01.0375.002 Thanks in advance Fred

Were there any delegates setup up on any one of the recipients earlier? It might be due to stale delegates entry which you might need to cleanup with MFCMapi. Check out this post on how to do it... http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/8ef3fa80-7692-4402-b788-39774a2e81e9/ Amit Tank MVP: Exchange Server | MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M Blog: http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com | User Group: http:/MUC-UG.org.in

All of our users have their Exchange configured "Used Cached Exchange Mode". Based on the instructions (Open UserB's Mailbox withMFCMapi where UserB's outlook profile configured in online mode (not Cache mode)) does that me I'm out of luck with MFCMapi? Thanks, Fred

I think I've found what you were talking about - I've made the change and we'll see what happens! Thanks for the suggestion! Fred
