Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007, Send/Receive automatically is not working
Hello, as described in the topic, the automatically receiving of Emails is not working. A network with 10 workstations with SBS 2008 and exchange 2007 Server. Two of the workstations do not receive the mails automatically, even not by pressing the Send/Receive Button. Outlook is online but you have to stop/start outlook to receive new messages. Thanks for help. G. Gansmann

Hi Try switching the outlook profile to use Online mode and see if that works, just as a troubleshooting test Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog | Follow me on twitter: jonand82

Please create a mail profile for problematic user on the working user’s workstation, see if the issue still appears Please check the ”Notif” column in the “Connection Status” of the outlook, which will show “Async” Please check if asynchronous communication has been disabled on the problematic workstation (KB 969843) Please disable the firewall on the problematic workstation, and check the issue again If the OS is Windows XP SP2 on the problematic workstations, please check the KB below The Outlook Find feature and the new mail notifications do not work after you apply Windows XP Service Pack 2 Please search "forcepolling" if you find it in the registry, rename it and then re-launch outlook Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
