Exchange 2003 w/ Outlook 2007 - Cancellation of meeting results in message stuck in queue
I have seen numerous forum posts about this exact issue and all say to install KB938650 to fix. Well, the forums also show users who have done this with no results and of course no one replies back. We have installed this fix, rebooted server and still see the invite cancellations stuck in the SMTP queue. (Also see Out of Office replies too). Is there any known fix that can be tried before we spend the money to call Microsoft directly? Thanks in advance!!!

Come to find out, after a call with MS and one of their Exchange Connector specialist the hotfix had to be applied again but in a little bit different scenario...... I wasn't there but the engineer said basically apply hot fix >> registry entries >> then reboot. I'll follow up to this post with more exact details however the moral to the story is, if you apply this fix and it doesn't work then check how you applied it! It does work and it did resolve the issue. I have seen many posts like this where admins say the fix doesn't work and then no replies afterward to an alternate fix....... More to come!
