Exchange 2003 to 2010 upgrade questions
Hi
I am in the process of putting together a doc on upgrading our current Exchange 2003 environment to Exchange 2010.
There is a question that I need to ask, our Exchange environment is part of a global exchange environment so to explain briefly..
Our first Exchange server was installed in the US, we have branches in China and the U.K too, all of our Exchange servers hang off this Exchange server in the U.S, so we have 4 admin groups all Exchange 2003, the rootdomain is also in the U.S.
Our 4 Exchange admin groups are U.S, China, U.K, Ireland.
I want to begin to install Exchange 2010 here in Ireland but my question is will I get the full benefit of it if all the other admin groups are still Exchange 2003 ? Including the one in the U.S which is the root domain and was the first Exchange server
in the org. The forest is fully preped for 2008 already.

hello Patrick, recommended way is to go with the internet facing AD site first, you should start from US
here is how you proceed http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd638158.aspx
