Exchange 2003 server detected as a spam email when sending to yahoo or gmail account
Hi guys, Iam using exchange 2003 in my Server 2003 standard edition server.My problem is everytime we send an email to gmail or yahoomail account it is recieved in spam folder and also when i try to send an email for example with a 7 or 8mb attachment, It takes a long time to recieved by the recipient..I need your advice..Thanks in advance.. Hi, Check your MX records your problem is because of MX records and if you dont have proper MX records in place than use smart host for mail delivery. I hope this will help you. Regards. When i check my MX records in http://www.checkdns.net it says that all my MX record are properly configured..You mean the problem is inside my server?.. Thanks, Jojo

Hi, Yes it seems to be that you are getting something wrong with your MX records or PTR records. just for confirmation use smart host and check I M sure your mail will be delivered to gmail and yahoo users. Thanks for the advice. Also how do i maximize the email size in exchange 2003?.The current limit size is 10mb. Is it possible to set a 20mb size?.. Thanks, Jojo

Hi Jojo, You can follow this KB to set the mail size: How to set size limits for messages in Exchange Server http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322679/en-us By the way, it is not recommended to allow large attachment. Some external domain will also reject large mails. About your mails go to junk folder, you can go to this web site to check your domain first: https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ Select "Outbound SMTP E-Mail".Frank Wang
