Exchange 2003 redirection OWA
Hi All, I've some issue about redirection OWA in Exchange 2003. I also configured redirection to URL /Exchange because if the user from internet can access OWA just type http://webmail.mes.com not need enter /exchange. Now after i configured the redirect user from internet cannot access OWA. This is my testing below; 1. Access OWA with enter /exchange = Successful 2. Access OWA without enter /exchange = Not Successful - Error is "Under Construction" Now, I don't want my client enter /exchange just type http://webmail.mes.com and successful logon to OWA Exchange 2003. Please help me. Thanks Ezzy

This is years old: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/839357?p=1 but I checked and it's been recently reviewed (2009) and says all the right things. You can do http to httpt and also removes the /exchange. "Mohd Ezzy" wrote in message news:4f43637a-b91a-4d81-afb6-ff2a7062bbfd... Hi All, I've some issue about redirection OWA in Exchange 2003. The Under Construction page isn't really an error - it's just the out-of-the-box landing page for the server's default web site. And it means that your redirect isn't working. How did you do the redirect? There are several ways to do it.Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

Hi, This is my step to do a redirect: Start the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) IIS snap-in. Right-click Default Web Site , click Properties , and then click the Home Directory tab. Under When connecting to this resource, the content should come from , click A redirection to a URL . In the Redirect to box, type /exchange . Under The client will be sent to , click A directory below this one . Stop and start the Default Web Site. After restart the IIS i still got error page "under construction" Thanks,Ezzy

Well, that should do it. Can you find the iis log entries that are generated when you go to the server without typing /exchange on the end of the URL.Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m
