Exchange 2003 licensing - product key change
Hello! One of my clients has Exchange 2003 EE server deployed, which is currently unlicensed. He has bought a license for Exchange and Windows server and now wants to license all software. There is a KB article about how to change Windows Server product key.I've not found any information in KB about licensing Exchange Server software. Is there any way to change Exchange Product key without reinstalling Exchange Server? Thanks you a lot.

As long as you have the physical license you are fine. Exchange 2k3 actually doesn't ask for a key during install :-)

Hello! Thank you for reply. But that about this software - Exchange Keyfinder? There is actually a product key for Exchange Server installation, as for SQL Server, for example, or ISA. If you search for this key in registry (check you Exchange installation), you'll find, that it's stored in registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Integration\9161A261-6ABE-4668-BBFA-AD06B3F642CF\PID3.0 key. No other keys are found. Now I'm going to use virtualization software to test, if I can change this key via the registry and this will not currupt my Exchange Server installtion. Please, tell me if you have any other ideas about key change.
