Exchange 2003 free/busy not visible
I have one user whose free/busy times are intermitantly not visable to anyone creating appointments. They will be visible on a restart of the machine but a few hours later will be replaced by 'No free/busy information could be retrieved.' I have tried outlook /cleanfreebusy and it has not helped. Free/busy is set to pulish 36 months and update every 15 minutes. Is therea sharing option for free/busy that I cannot find? And if so, why would it change bank (aside from user interferance)?

Same thing is happening to someone in my group. He tried running these switches as well and it helped for a few days, then the problem came back. I'm hoping that I will be alerted to new answers if someone comes up with something smart. Try the switches below. run them all at once like /cleanfreebusy and see if it helps. Let me know. /cleanfreebusy /cleanreminders /cleansniff

No I have not. But this page link references Schedule Plus, but is clearly geared toward Outlook. Which begs the question: Is this a valid switch in Outlook 2003? Could it help? /CleanSchedPlus

Hi,Well the link (http://www.petri.co.il/outlook_2003_command_line_switches.htm) says it's a valid switch for OL2003, but it would only clear the the free/busy Info from the server and if you use the updatefb tool it would clean + force publish free/busy information automatically.....

I'll ask him to run this and see what happens. I'll let you know. Thanks. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/294282/en-us
