If a user who has a mailbox on an Exchange2003server logs onby using https://server name/owa, they will receive an error telling them that their mailbox is on an Exchange2003server. They must use the Exchangevirtual directory. If they log onby usinghttps://server name/Exchange, the Exchange2007Client Access server will proxy their request to the Exchange2003mailbox server. If a user who has a mailbox on Exchange2007accesses OutlookWebAccessby usinghttps://server name/owa, they will be able to access their mailbox directly. If they log onto OutlookWebAccessby usinghttps://server name/Exchange, they will be redirected to https://server name/owa. there "server name" here should be the CAS server. for more info see - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310763.aspx

We had this problem when we first migrated. There was a combination of the ExchangeVersion numbers and also an inheritance issue in AD. If your OWA redirection pages are set correctly, you might check the ExchangeVersion number to see if the users you are migrating are correct. Easiest way to identify this is to run a similar command on the exchange shell:Get-Mailbox -Identity <username> | ft Name, ExchangeVersionIf the user exchange version should be something like 8.0 for all users migrated to Exchange 2007. Anything else would be "redirected" to an older server where the user would not exist. To correct it, try this command:Set-Mailbox -Identity <username> -ApplyMandatoryPropertiesThe inheritance problem in AD were do the fact the Exchange 2007 security groups were not inheriting through every OU below the Root Domain. I hope that helps.
