Exchange 2003 Send on behalf DL
Hi Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2010. I have a user who has sent of behalf a DL, not a user. How is this possible ? I know you can send on behalf of a user but not for a DL with Exchange 2003. I have checked pluggins in Outlook, checked publicdelegates & BLpublicdelegates on the DL which don't exisit. I have seen the message with MFCMapi and see PR_SENT_REPRESENTING_NAME_W property which shows the name of the DL. Looking forward to some replies.Sukh

Hello Sukh, You mean this issue only occur when user send emails to several users? I tested in my lab, it only show send on behalf of DL, when I set the publicdelegate for DL. Hi No public delegates set. Issue occurs when sending to a single user or multiple users.Sukh

If only one user have this issue, I think we can try to dump the attribute of this problem user and one normal user, and check whether there is any different. when you check the email in sent item folder, it show send on behalf of DL or just the user send it? I've already compared attributes and no difference, in Sent Items it just says the users name, NOT send on behalf.Sukh
