Exchange 2003 SP2 inside SBS 2003 SP2
Hi, sometimes on some customers I've this problem: Using SBS2003 SP2 + Exchange SP2 (and a big quantity of email sent and recieved), the server is stille powered on for months, after a shutdown due to maintenance, when restarting Exchange sends out old emails (seems that no relationship between them i.e user, sbject, date and so on) all those email where correctly sent from the last shutdown. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help. Feel free to contact me for further informations, or explanations. Bye Carletto

This may happen if mails are stuck in the TempTable of SMTP mailbox. Refer below article for further detail and how to clear it... How to use the Mfcmapi.exe utility to view and work with messages in the SMTP TempTables in Exchange 2000 Server and in Exchange Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906557Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
