Exchange 2003 Public Folder on Calendar
hi we are using exchange 2003, is there a way to prevennt other user members to delete=>public folder=> calendar if he/she is not the creater of the appoinment or schedule. please advise thanks in advance regards lkh

Yes you can do this. in ESM drill down to the PF you want to change permission on, right click and properties Permission tab and client permission, make users Authors this will stop users from deleting stuff that they didnt create in the folder

hi lasses 01 click all program 02.click micosoft exchange 03.click system manager 04.click double on folders 05.right click on public folder 06.click properties 07.click security , is it then how... please advise. sorry i m new to ms exchange. thanks

You have to drill down a little bit more. what you right cliked on was the PF tree, you must open it and you will see the PF tree content, that is the PF you see in outlook
