We use Public Folders as Team email repositories. In the past we have always been able to archive Public Folders to a PST file just like a regular mailbox. Now when I try to archive a Public Folder I get the error "The selected folder can not be archived". Has anyone encountered this and how can I fix it? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. OK, I found the solution. I am using Exchange Server 2003 with Public Folders. I had been able to archive these folders in the past similarly to the way that I archived my own personal folder. When I attempted this recently I received the message " The selected folder cannot be archived".As it turns out, the problem was that I was attempting to archive the public folders with Outlook 2007, and when I did it in the past it was with Outlook 2000. I went to a PC with Outlook 2000 still installed and guess what ... it worked like a charm. Not sure why MS would remove this functionality, but I will be keeping an Outlook 2000 installation handy so that I can continue with public folder archives.Good luck.Tom
