Exchange 2003 Management Console - Licensing Question
Hi, I have a customer who wants to install the Exchange Management Console for Exchange 2003 on his laptop computer, in order to connect to the exchange server in his office and manage it remotely. I have been told that he needs to purchase ONE EXCHANGE SERVER 2003 LICENSE, just to install the management console on his XP laptop. Is this correct? I have contacted microsoft, and got both positives and negatives answers regarding this... Who is right?

Mike, thanks for your reply. My question is regarding the licensing required to do that. I have been told that i need to purchase an additionallicense of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, just to install the Management Console in the laptop. Is this correct?
