Exchange 2003 Errors and ways to fix?
Exchange Errors and ways to fix Dear All, I have an Exchange 2003 SP2 on a Server 2003 SP box. Recently I started getting warnings and errors in my Exchange application logs... Event Type: Warning Event Source: MSExchangeMU Event Category: General Event ID: 1040 Date: 3/11/2011 Time: 10:57:32 AM User: N/A Computer: EXCHANGE Description: Metabase Update failed replication 5 times with error 80070003 (The system cannot find the path specified.). Please change the diagnostic logging level of MSExchangeMU to 'minimum' or greater to find the source of the problem. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. In addition I was receving these follow errors Event Type: Error Event Source: Server ActiveSync Event Category: None Event ID: 3005 Date: 3/11/2011 Time: 10:23:12 AM User: YYYYY\xxxxxxx Computer: EXCHANGE Description: Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [exchange.THAAZ.local] User: [xxxxxx@yyyy.org] HTTP status code: [500]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Event Type: Error Event Source: EXCDO Event Category: General Event ID: 8217 Date: 3/11/2011 Time: 10:23:07 AM User: N/A Computer: EXCHANGE Description: The processing of the recurring appointment with the subject "Canceled: Admin Meeting" in mailbox: Julee Dawson failed with error code 0x80004005. This appointment will not be visible in the web client or other non-MAPI client. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. On this last error I've updatd the EXCDO.dll file and it appeared to have fixed any new appointments being added. I had the receptionist recreate the appointment in everyone's calendar and this warning did not appear on the recreation. But it did appear when we deleted an old appointment that was NOT showing..was this to be expected? The first and second error message is still appearing any suggestions?
