Exchange 2003 Distribution Group
Hi All, Want to Know something about Distribution Group, Suppose we have two Sites one in India and Second in US and both Site has Exchange 2003 Installed. India has One DC and US has one ADC. I want to create one Scenario If we moved one user from India to US Mailbox and that user is on one Particular DG which is Created in India Server and after that if we Down our India Exchange Server. Then any user who sent a mail to Particular Group will get by that User who's ID is already Moved to US Exchange Server. Both the server is connected by Routing Group. Can anyone Explain me. Thanks Mukesh

your question is bit confusing. 1. DLs(DG) is not related to exchange, they are stored in AD, so if exchange server goes down, the email for this particular user will queued. 2. so lets says u create DG which had both india and us members and india server is down. mails will be Qed in US exchange server(depending on where you send it from) did i explain it? or u have any questions.Thiyagu | MCTS/MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE 2003[Messaging] | http://www.myExchangeWorld.com.
