Hi, You might face a Spoofing against your server. It works like this. I when spammer sends email to XXX@yourdomain.com with sender address as a My@mydomain.com. Then your Active directory check whether that user exist in domain. if that user not exist in domain send NDR to My@mydomain.com by your exchange server. So effect spammer sends massage to my@mydomain.com via your NDR mechanism. One thing you can do to stop this right now disable NDR in exchange server. See below KB article. In Exchange Server 2003 or in Exchange 2000 Server, the Exchange Server queues are filled with many non-delivery reports from the postmaster account because of a reverse non-delivery report attack http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=909005 I will suggest implement IMF on your Exchange server 2003.IMF comes with Exchange 2003 Sp2. You told that lots of mails are stucked in the queue folder, are they valid emails? Check in Exchange Queues and queues directory... You might have Exchange open for relay, check FAQ #4 in below lists... http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/d46bf491-0e5b-4b9e-81b3-81c66b6ad81c#4 Refer below couple of articles to verify open relay and cleanup if those mails are spams... http://www.amset.info/exchange/spam-cleanup.asp http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=909005 Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
