This has happened on several occasions now, when a try and go into the properities of a user using the AD Users and Computers snapin on our Exchange 2003 server the snapin crashes. This is logged in the application event log: Faulting application maildsmx.dll, version 6.5.7638.1, stamp 430e738e, faulting module ole32.dll, version 5.2.3790.3959, stamp 45d70aa5, debug? 0, fault address 0x0004215f. I've just come across http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946459 which fits with our network as we have a Windows Server 2008 forest and the exchange server is running on Windows Server 2003. I am going to try and apply it later (as it requires a restart) and see what happens.
