Hi I know how to configure a client for RPC/HTTP my question is " we are using Root CA(self signed certificate) not using any third pary Certificate for exchange 2003 now if the client is connected through Internet and it is not joined to Domain in that case whether we can use RPC/HTTP for outlook to connect to our exchange". We tried to configure it but we are getting error " exchange server is not available".

Hi there, The self-signed certificate cannot be used with Outlook Anywhere. We recommend that you obtain a certificate from a Windows PKI or a trusted commercial third party if you will be using Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP). see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb851554(EXCHG.80).aspxFiona Liao TechNet Community Support
