Hi, I've been having a very strange problem sincea day. Whenver I attempt to create a user in AD Users and Computers on de server running our Exchange 2003 (A Small Business Server 2003), the user itself is created perfectly but the corresponding Mailbox in Exchange is not made. I have attempted to create it manuel by skipping the creation in the create user wizard and running it via "Exchange Tasks" when the user was created. Here is will state that the creation was 100% succesfull. Yet no mailbox appears. We only have 1 exchange server with only 1 mailbox store. Any help would be much appreciated.

The mailbox is not created until the user accesses it, could that be the problem? otherwise the recipient update service may not be stamping user accounts. Have a look here: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2004/07/07/175444.aspx

Next time if you face this problem 1. run exchange task if you still face problem then 2. open user properties and see if exchange related tabs are there or not, if there then goto Echange General and in Alias: PUT email initials (xxxx.xxxx or xyz) in it email will appear in exchange.
