Exchange 2003: Problemt purging mailbox after deleting it from AD user account using 'Exchange tasks'
Hi,I've been ExMerging mailboxes into .pst files from our Exchange 2003. Following the Exmerge, i delete the connection between the AD user object and the mailbox by using Exchange tasks in Active Directory.I then run the cleanup agent on my mailstores and purge the mailboxes. This has been working fine for nearly 100 mailboxes, but i have an issue with 2 specific mailboxes. When i try to purge these two mailboxes i get the following error: "The operation cennot be oerformed because this mailbox was already connected to an existing user"ID no: C1034ad6Exchange System Manager.Any ideas?

Thanks. Using Exchange Tasks to remove Exchange attributes from the AD user object enabled me to purge the mailbox.
